How do I turn one answer into something my team uses every week?

SSupaboardAnswered in 4 steps

  1. Reading the question

Start with a question a sales lead would ask: revenue by region last quarter.

Start with a question in plain English

AI Analyst reads your connected data and answers with a chart, a short write-up and the query behind it. Ask a follow-up and it keeps the context.

  2. Digging deeper

North is up 14% on Q2. That's worth switching to Max and finding out why.

Dig deeper when one answer isn't enough

Use Flash for everyday questions, Pro for deeper analysis, or Max for an investigation that needs planning. Inspect the queries and supporting results as you explore.

  3. Writing the report

The finding is worth sending as it stands. Put it in a PDF.

Turn the analysis into a report

Ask for a report and the conversation becomes a PDF: the charts, the findings and the figures behind them, laid out and ready to send. Ask for a deck or a spreadsheet and you get PowerPoint or Excel instead.

    • PDF, PowerPoint or Excel
    • You review the plan before it's built
  4. Choosing where it should live

Share the report, or keep the analysis available for ongoing use.

Keep it working as a dashboard, a datasite or an automation

Build these from the connected data and the analysis you already have, so the work doesn't stay in one conversation.

    • Track it as a dashboard. Follow recurring metrics with charts, tables and filters. Explore Dashboards
    • Present it as a datasite. Show the data in a custom website with pages and navigation. Explore Datasites
    • Repeat it as a automation. Run the analysis again on a schedule and deliver what it produces. Explore Automations

Common questions

What's the difference between a dashboard, a datasite, an automation and a report?

Use a dashboard to track recurring metrics with charts, tables and filters. Use a datasite to present data in a custom website with pages and navigation. Use an automation to repeat an analysis or workflow and deliver what it produces. Use a report or deck to share a downloadable snapshot for a meeting or a handoff.

Can I get the analysis as a PDF?

Yes. Ask for a report in the conversation and Supaboard builds a PDF from it, after you review the plan. You can ask for a PowerPoint deck or an Excel file the same way.

Do I have to start from a conversation?

No. You can describe a dashboard, a datasite or an automation directly. Starting from an answer is the quickest way when you already have the number you want.

Do they update when the data changes?

Dashboards and datasites read your connected sources, so they can show updated figures as those sources update. Automations run when their trigger says to. Downloaded PDF, PowerPoint and Excel files are snapshots: generate a new one when you need newer figures.

Can Supaboard change my data?

Not through analysis. The queries Supaboard runs against your connected databases and warehouses are read-only. An automation sends results out only where you set it to, such as an email or a webhook.
